Saint Thomas of Acon Lodge was consecrated in 1930 and is located at Mark Masons Hall, a stone’s throw from St James’s Palace in Central London. Its Membership is drawn from a diverse range of ages and professional backgrounds. It lays claim to having Members from the same family, so encourages generational continuation as well as personal referrals for joining Members. Above all, the Lodge’s Members enjoy great camaraderie and take part in its lively calendar of events. These include events for masons and non-masons alike, such as parties in London and trips abroad.
The Brethren of Saint Thomas of Acon Lodge extend a welcome to newcomers to Freemasonry, from where a special personal journey can begin.

Message from our Worshipful Master:
“I have been a member of Freemasonry for over 25 years and I am a member of other masonic lodges, this is my second time being a Worshipful Master, and I was delighted to have been given the opportunity to take the chair in St Thomas of Acon. The lodge is made up of a diverse group, ranging from young masons to senior in age and varying in masonic experience, the key thing is we are all friends and have the same desire and drive for charity, wellbeing in the community and friendship. Seeing how much enthusiasm the younger members have certainly reassures us that the lodge will continue to prosper for many years to come. We encourage visitors from other lodges to visit where you will always be made very welcome and hopefully join us at our convivial festive boards, or for those who are thinking about joining Freemasonry please get in touch so hopefully you can join us at one of our social events.”
